Ok here is my question… How many dates do you have to go on with one person ( person A) to be more than dating - to reach the talking stage.. and how long do you have to be talking to someone until they’re your boyfriend/girlfriend? Then I’d like to know what is talking… seriously? I’m going to go out on a limb and assume it’s that stage where you’ve gone on a few dates and have determined that you are interested in becoming committed; And becoming boyfriend/girlfriend is, simply put, the willingness to have just that -commitment. But then I wonder.. aren’t you in a way committed in the talking stage because I can’t imagine going up to person A and saying “oh by the way I hooked up with someone last night.” and them being okay with that.. yet you technically you are aloud to do whatever you want… its just unspoken, taboo.. WEIRD. I feel like the word talking is too vague..it’s saying your not friends your something more… but what is something more?? it’s more like negotiating… negotiating your feelings until you reach a point that you both are on the same level and in turn can take that next step… but why even negotiate because if your going to be expected to abstain from other men/women then your committed so doesn’t that basically say your either in a relationship or your not? What order do these steps occur in:
not friends, friends, dating, something more, negotiating, relationship ??
How do you keep up with THAT, and what are the real meaning of the two extra stages?
There’s four categories NOT FRIENDS, FRIENDS, DATING, IN A RELATIONSHIP everything else are just unnecessary sub categories created by people who need loop holes -shady much? I guess the point between dating and relationships is just complicated.. is that what the facebook relationship status means? So what happens when person A and person B decide to stop negotiating and are no longer “complicated” .. is it considered breaking up? or uncomplicating? Because if you really think about it.. if person B says they broke up with Person A and person A hears those specific words yet they never considered person B a boyfriend/girlfriend wouldn’t that make person B sound insane, delusional? But how could you blame person B..with all these sub catergories how else could you explain that to someone accurately with out spending an hour hashing out all the details of a negotiation you’d rather not think about..especially if you crossed into multiple sub catergories and aren’t quite sure which one is correct. It’s just.. COMPLICATED. I think I’ll stick with the term uncomplicate..yaaaa I think that fits it perfectly.
Just keep in mind it’s all fake. ALL those tiny sub catergories are FAKE …created by people who are wanting to jedi mind trick you so that they can be shady.
