I met someone -weird, I know!
I met someone a few months ago who I instantly wanted to know everything about, and before I knew it he was gone. Now, I know that misunderstandings, and complicated situations are what stood in the way.
Then something funny happened, like hitting the rewind button on a remote control, the situation was reset. Now don’t be mistaken, it has not been easy, but bottom line all is not lost. Who would have thought after everything that has happened, deception, in a some ways betrayal, in many ways poorly expressed, and misguided situations that the friendship would some how recover from it. It’s still new, and I can’t say for sure where its going. For now, I can just take it one day at a time, I can say however that I am optimistic, and oddly thankful for the lessons learned. Whether it works out or not I’ve gained so much insight about myself through the experience. It’s refreshing to spend time with someone who cares and thinks about things that many people neglect. This person has showed me, in the short time I’ve known them, that it IS okay sometimes to take chances, to make mistakes, as long as you learn from them, and don’t compromise yourself in the process. I’ve learned That trusting people is a good thing, but being trustworthy is better, that people will tell you what you want to hear, and that it is foolish to just believe them -trust should be earned.
Anyways just rambling…
